President Emmerson Mnangagwa has taken his annual leave and will remain in the country, the presidency says.
Vice presidents Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi will alternate as acting president.
His office says the President will interrupt his leave and attend to certain things that need his personal attention.
