A member of Zimbabwe National Army Lance Corporal Witness Mpofu was embarrassingly caught stealing National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) signal cables.
It’s not yet clear where Mpofu was caught in the act but he appears to be based in Kwekwe.
Cases of indiscipline by security forces have been on a sharp increase in the past six months after a gorup of soldiers were arrested while attacking police officers with machetes while one of the gang members Kudakawashe Hoto was gunned at at Goodhope mine in Kadoma last week.
