President Robert Mugabe has arrived in Rwanda for the annual AU Summit on Human Rights.
He is expected to meet with other heads of state to discuss best ways to promote and safeguard human rights in Africa with emphasis on women.
The iron of the Summit is that it will see the gathering of some of the world’s worst abusers of human rights including Rwanda’s hardman Paul Kagame, Sudan’s Al Bashir who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity and many others with similar profiles.
Mugabe is expected to return home via Singapore where he will meet up with the rest of his family.
