It is the time of the year again when President Mugabe leaves the country for his long medical vacations in the far east.
Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe is now on official holiday starting today.
He is expected to spend the later part of December and much of January away from public functions as he rests and visits his holiday home in Singapore.
While on his vacation, Mugabe is expected to receive a comprehensive medical checkup and an assortment of treatments as he prepares himself for a life-and-death tussle with the ever worsening economic situation and many other issues including 2018 election campaigns and deadly factional wars pitting his subordinates against one another as they have come to realise that he(Mugabe) will not be with them for too long.
In October 2016, zwnews.com was the first Zimbabwe publication to report that Mugabe ‘faked a business visit to Malaysia’ as he had a scheduled medical check up appointment in Singapore.
First Lady, Amai Grace will also be undergoing treatment for a yet to be disclosed ailment according to information this publication received from impeccable government sources in Harare.
Mugabe has temporarily ‘handed power’ to his election agent and top aide, Emmerson D Mnangangwa, who will be Acting President until the beginning of February.
