HARARE: Claims that former vice president of the Republic of Zimbabwe Emmerson D. Mnangagwa had skipped the country are untrue.
A source told reporters yesterday that Mnangagwa was still in the country and will be leaving for South Africa today.
“Mnangagwa’s itinerary for SA flight was done 5 weeks,” said the source.
According to a statement by Zanu-PF spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo, Mnangagwa was fired for being disloyalty and little probity in the execution of duties.
