MATTER OF FACT: Dr Simba Makoni still alive, close friend

Media reports that former finance minister Simba Makoni has died are not true, his close associate Dr Ibbo Mandaza has said.

It was being reported that the 74-year-old died suddenly near Rusape.

“Simba Makoni is alive and well. This is mischief, and not for the first time,” said Mandaza.
