The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) has distanced itself from the alleged underhand gold dealings as reportedly shown by the Aljazeera documentary on corruption in Zimbabwe.
RBZ governor John Mangudya says snippets from the documentary yet to be released are false and malicious.
Mangudya threatened legal action against the interviewees and purveyors of what he described fake news.
