Two house maids have been jailed for stealing US$26,000 from their employer, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has said.
The court heard that on 11 July 2024, the accused persons stole a cash box containing US$26000 from their employer’s bedroom and shared the money.
The employer noticed that the money was missing the following day leading to the maids’ arrest.
