The government has formally fired Zimbabwe Professional Nurses Union president Robert Emmanuel Chiduku.
Apparently, this comes at the time nurses and other health workers have been complaining demanding better salaries and working conditions.
Health workers recently took it to the streets asking the government to address their plight failure to which they would down tools.
Meanwhile, the government responded with heavy-handedness deploying the police to assault the nurses.
