The South African Police has released an official statement concerning the case of assault lodged against controversial Zimbabwe First Lady, Doctor Grace Mugabe.
According to the statement, the suspect Amai Grace initially made arrangements that she would present herself to the South African police to give a statement on the assault accusations lodged by her victim Gabriella Engels.
The national prosecuting authority failed to prosecute her after the suspect later changed her mind and made it known to the police that she wished to invoke diplomatic immunity cover.
