The driver of a fuel tanker escaped unhurt when it exploded into a ball of flames in Mutare’s Nyakamete Industrial Area yesterday afternoon. The tanker was carrying 20 000 litres of petrol from Feruka when it developed a mechanical fault after binding brakes.
