The top office aide to President Mugabe, Doctor Charles Utete was declared a National Hero and is set for burial at the National Heroes Acre shrine tomorrow on Tuesday 19th of July.
Utete who was a chief admin officer in Prime Minister Mugabe’s office at independence has been commended for being the first civil servant to be laid to rest at the National shrine where men and women mostly with war status have been buried.
This year is a bad period for Zanu PF party following the death of more than 5 top heroes including Vivian Mwashita who was also buried at the National shrine.
There are no indications as to who will bury Utete as Mugabe is is rumoured to be flying back to Zimbabwe via his Singapore hideout where he will meet up with his wife Grace and daughter Bona Chikore Mugabe.
