Six people are reported to have died following a head on collision between Inter Africa bus from Bulawayo to Mutare and a 10 tonne UD truck.
The accident occurred along the 15km peg outside Masvingo town.
The bus driver,conductor and the lorry driver died in the accident while several others sustained serious injuries.
Masvingo police did not respond when asked to comment on the accident.
For the past four years the Inter Africa bus has been involved in deadly accidents that claimed many lives. Sources said the buses belong to Mhunga who rebranded after allegedly running into some operational challenges.
