Bona Mugabe Miscarried in her first pregnancy
The First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe has revealed that her daughter lost twins after a miscarriage in her first year of marriage.
Bona who is married to Simba Chikore and now blessed with a son Simbanashe experienced a miscarriage soon after her wedding in 2014.
Speaking at her 51 birthday celebrations Grace Mugabe revealed the miscarriage to the press:
“We were disheartened, but we continued to pray and now we have a grandson. It has always been my prayer and wish that President Mugabe sees his grandchildren,”said Mrs Mugabe.
The Mugabes who are often quite on family health matters rarely reveal details about their personal issues.
