Prosecutor jailed 8 years for demanding US$20 000 bribe from Henrietta Rushwaya

Prosecutor in Rushwaya’s gold smuggling case is sentenced to 8 years imprisonment for fraud, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has said.

The prosecutor, Pardon Dziva is said to have demanded $20 000 from Rushwaya in order to facilitate a lighter sentence.
