The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority -ZERA- has cleared air with regards to the registration of generators.
According to the energy regulatory authority, no charge is imposed on the registration of standby generators, as the process is free.
The registration requirement for generators above 100kW is in the interest of public safety.
