ZwNews received unconfirmed reports suggesting former Mugabe loyalist and Mashonaland West Government Minister Webster Shamu was arrested by police yesterday.
A government source indicated that this was unlikely but did not respond when asked to comment on the photo shown below.

Shamu put himself on the firing line after allegedly setting up Mnangagwa ally Chris Mutsvangwa to compete against an unknown party candidate in Zanu PF primary elections for Norton constituency.
Mutsvangwa suffered a humiliating loss leading to suspicion that Shamu was behind the voting outcome.
