US$4.75m Guruve solar project to add 10 megawatts to national grid

A Guruve solar project worth US$4,75 million is expected to feed 10 megawatts into the national grid this year.

At least two megawatts are ready to be connected in May this year.

Meanwhile, the country is dogged with a power shortage with most coming from imports.

The power utility, Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority has since been resorting to loadshedding.
