A 42 year old man from Southlea Park, Harare drank poison and set is car and house on fire following an argument with his wife.
He also rammed his car into the family home before destroying it with petrol.
Patrick Bangani had a fight with hi wife a day before and she had gone to consult police when the tragedy happened.
His young children managed to escape the carnage.
Police have confirmed the death and asked members of the public to seek counselling when necessary.
