A shopkeeper at a retail outlet in Battlefields Kadoma is lucky to be alive after sustaining head injuries in a fist fight which ensued due to a misunderstanding over $0.10 cents change with a customer.
Edson Ncube was arrested for beating up Edwin Mpofu whom he left for dead over an accusation of trying to dupe him $0.10 cents.
Circumstances are that Ncube left $1.60 change at Mpofu’s tuckshop only to return someother time to be told that it was $1.50, $0.10 short.
This is did not go well with Ncube who then struck Mpofu with a brick on the head and stomach resulting in Mpofu sustaining head injuries and severe stomach pains.
Ncube was later arrested after a report was local police.
