The Midlands capital of Gweru has totally been shut, with police officers on horsebacks barring urbanites in the city from entering the central business district.
Reports reaching Zwnews from Gweru indicate that searches have heightened, leaving the residents in an uneasy mode.
Midlands provincial police spokesperson Inspector Joel was not immediately available for a comment on the new developments.
