HARARE: Zanu PF has expelled and banned for life six high ranking officials over their roles in the now doomed G40 faction.

These are former First Lady Grace Mugabe and her allies Phelekezela Mphoko, Saviour Kasukuwere, Jonathan Moyo, Ignatius Chombo and Patrick Zhuwao.

The following were expelled but without a life ban: Robert Gabriel Mugabe, Doctor Paul Chimedza, Mandi Chimene, Kudzanai Chipanga, Makhosini Hlongwane, Samuel Undenge and his wife Letina, Walter Mzembi, Innocent Hamandishe, Sarah Mahoka, Eunice Sandi-Moyo, Tongai Kasukuwere, Xavier Kasukuwere, Shadreck Mashayamombe and Anastacia Ndlovu.
