National Chiefs Conference 2023 has commenced at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Hall 1 in Bulawayo, with over 1000 delegates in attendance.
President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is expected to attend the conference tomorrow, where he is billed to officiate.
This year’s conference is running under the theme, “Firm cultural foundation for community development.”
For the first time, the conference is attended by headmen as government moves to ensure its programmes cascade to all the corners of the country.
A number of senior government officials, thus ministers, directors and permanent secretaries will also be attending the event.
