A Gokwe woman (23) pleaded guilty before a Harare Magistrate to violating the Trafficking in Persons Act in that she sold her baby two days after giving birth.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority, the accused sold her son to her accomplice while in South Africa.
When she learnt about the arrest of her partner in crime, she returned home.
