It is all systems go for the official opening of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF 2022) by President Emmerson Mnangagwa in Bulawayo this afternoon.
The 2022 ZITF is themed “Rethink, Reimagine, Reinvent value chains for Economic Development.”
Meanwhile, upon his arrival, Mnangagwa toured a number of stands including the Japanese Embassy stand, Belarusian stand and the Great Britain stand among others.
Speaking during the walk-about, Mnangagwa said:
“This is the biggest exhibition that ZITF has achieved. It is a result of the Second Republic’s policy of Engagement & Rengagement.
“After 20 years, countries like Great Britain are exhibiting. More than 75% of products on our shelves are now produced locally.”
