1, VP Emmerson D Mnangagwa allegedly went on his knees and begged for forgiveness from President Mugabe after disassociating himself from war veterans’ call to take over power from President Mugabe. Mnangagwa was taking to task by Zanu PF politburo and central committee over recent ‘Mugabe must go’ calls coming from within ZanuPF and the liberation movement.
2, Dynamos football fans perish in horror road accident..seven soccer supporters died on the spot when their kombi veered off the road after bursting a front tyre. Many people were injured. Condolences have poured in as Zimbabwe football fraternity mourn the death of Dynamos supporters. Harare and Bulawayo rivals, Caps United and Highlanders issued separate messages to Dynamos following the road deaths on Saturday.
