1,Govt officials in no show to welcome VP Mnangagwa in Mutare-Picture
VICE President Emmerson Mnangagwa found no Government officials to welcome him when he arrived at the Golden Peacock Hotel in Mutare on Thursday for a consultative workshop.
Mnangagwa who arrived in a convoy of two vehicles, disembarked from his vehicle and walked all the way up to the hotel conference room alone with his bodyguards as seen on picture.

TWO Harare businessmen allegedly connived with bogus police detectives and robbed their colleague of $85 000 and mobile phones, the court heard last week.
Keagan Paul Blumears (33) reportedly lured Taghlan Hovsep to his house on the pretext that his friend was selling a Hyundai excavator before communicating with his alleged accomplices, Eddie Zviitwa and bogus detectives.
The detectives “arrested” Hovsep for dealing in minerals and supporting Team Lacoste before taking away his money.
3, Diamonds discovered at Mutare Showgrounds
A RICH diamond belt has been discovered at Mutare Show Grounds and lands overlooking the Murahwa Hills in Chikanga.
The discovery is a confirmation of a recent geographical survey which showed that a rich diamond belt stretched from Mutare down to the Save Valley in the Lowveld.
Makorokoza illegal panners who are mining the grounds by night told reporters that the diamond quality is very similar to the gems found in Chiadzwa.
