Prominent politician and lawyer Douglas Mwonzora is entangled in a stormy maintenance row, according to court records.
According to records at Masvingo Civil Court, one Getrude Chuma filed papers last week demanding maintenance from the popular MDC Secretary General.
Mwonzora sired one child with the lady, according to court documents.
Chuma is demanding a total of $ 380 per month from Mwonzora.
“We have resorted to court action because Mwonzora is uncooperative.
For the record Mwonzora has never disputed the paternity of the child,” said Chuma.
