President Mugabe has fired Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa with immediate effect.
VP Mnangagwa was fired with immediate effect for among other reasons disloyalty, disrespect, deceit and being unreliable.

A government source who refused to be named said there is tension within the country’s security amidst fears that the country’s military is disappointed with Mugabe over his decision to fire Mnangagwa.
“No one is happy, people are talking in whispers, in all military camps and offices around the country, we have never been here before, something could happen,” said the source on condition that his name is not revealed.
The source also revealed that any rebellion against Mugabe’s decision will be dealt with severe brutality. There are unconfirmed reports that Mnangagwa will soon be arrested or forced into exile.
