The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has released the names of travellers who perished in a fatal road accident which happened along the Harare- Mutare highway recently.
ZRP Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the accident which took place on 7 June 2021 happened after a motorist driving a Toyota Hiace heading towards Harare lost control of the vehicle with 12 passengers veered off the road, overturned several times before landing on its roof.
Nyathi expressed concern over the increase in the traffic accident country wide and called for road users to be always cautious.
