President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has admitted that there is rampant corruption within his administration which he says is getting complicated.
“Networks of corruption are becoming more and more sophisticated, permeating all sections of our society,” said President Mnangagwa.
His comments came at the time renowned media outlet, Aljazeera is set to release a documentary exposing rampant corruption in the country.
The documentary which reportedly took 2 years to produce is already sending shock waves in the country, as teeth gnash.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time for President Mnangagwa to admit rampant corruption within his government, few weeks ago he disclosed that the people he sends to deal with corruption are also getting involved.
Referring to land baronds President Mnangagwa recently bemoaned that his trusted messengers are also involved.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services Nick Mangwana echoed his boss’s sentiments adding that with God’s help Zimbabwe will win the fight against corruption.
“There is Corruption but by God, we are throwing everything in us to curb the scourge!” He says.
