In a rare circumstance a body of a male adult has been lying idle for the past six months at Kwekwe General Hospital Mortuary after relatives or friends failed to show up.
Midlands Police said they are appealing for information leading to the identification of the body, which has been at the mortuary since 19 December 2016.
Acting Provincial Community Relations and Liaison Officer Assistant Inspector Ethel Mukwende has urged members of the public missing a relative to approach police for possible identification.
