The Zimbabwe Republic Police ZRP has confirmed the arrest of four armed robbers including a police officer.
Meanwhile, on 15/03/23, ZRP Zhombe arrested Obadia Mhaka (26) in connection with a case of murder in which the suspect, together with another suspect only known as Andrew, attacked Norman Sibanda (26) over a girlfriend at a Night club in Zhombe.
The suspects allegedly stabbed the victim several times all over the body, and he died on the spot.
In other news, ZRP is investigating a hit-and-run road traffic accident which occurred at the intersection of Harare Drive and Acturus Road, Greendale, Harare on 16/03/23 at around 0545 hours where a motorist who was driving a rigid truck, registration number not captured, rammed into a Honda CRV vehicle which had four passengers on board.
As a result of the accident, two people were seriously injured and were referred to Parirenyatwa hospital for treatment. The driver of the truck did not stop after the accident.
Police is calling on anyone with information to report at any nearest police station.
