A student teacher died on on the spot while many other people were seriously injured when commuter kombi collided with a pirate Nissan March taxi in Suburbs Bulawayo.
Both drivers are now being charged with culpable homicide.
Meanwhile Bulawayo police have dismissed earlier reports that the crash was caused by a commuter driver fleeing police arrest.
