The Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB) has confirmed that the 2025 tobacco auction floors will officially close on 7 August 2025.
Apparently, mop-up sales process will follow for growers with unsold tobacco at hand by end of the marketing period.
The final clean-up sale is set for 27 August 2025, while contract sales will proceed until all contractors finish receiving deliveries.
