BREAKING NEWS: Saviour Kasukuwere Acquitted

HARARE: Former cabinet Minister Savior Kasukuwere has been acquitted for allegedly violating the country’s immigration laws by unlawfully leaving Zimbabwe using an undesignated port.

Kasukuwere fled the country wearing bulletproof clothes when army units occupied strategic locations in Harare following the ouster of President Mugabe.

Zwnews recently wrote an article detailing that Kasukuwere, the army and Mnangagwa have been working together before and after the fall of Mugabe, he negotiated a safe return six months after he left Zimbabwe for South Africa.

In his defence, Kasukuwere says he had no choice than to border jump, as his life was in danger. He showed court officials the bullet marks on his house as a way to explain the extent how his life was in danger.

Meanwhile, former Mugabe cabinet minister who ran away together with Kasukuwere, Jonathan Moyo believes the attacks would have forced anyone to jump the border into safety.

Moyo believes the attacks were fierce and inhumane that would warrantee running for dear life.

He once wrote on his twitter account; “What would you do if you and your family survived a 2am-15 minute ZDF attack on your house with 7 children, one of them 12 years old, by 25 snippers with semi-automatic weapons; randomly firing tracer bullets and stun grenades? Is this the New Justice? New dawn? New era? New Zim?”
