With effect from 2024, companies listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) will be required to report on sustainability.
This means they will need to report on metrics such as energy consumption, community projects, local procurement, waste management and others.
A number of companies in the country are facing sustainability challenges due to the prevailing economic situation.
Many firms are operating below installed capacity.
