The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating a case of suspected carjacking which occurred in Chegutu on 15 April 2022.
The incident involved a Freightliner Truck with horse number ADC 2434 and trailer number HX45MBGP laden with 31,5 tonnes of copper from Zambia went missing.
However, the horse was later found parked at 104 km peg along Harare- Bulawayo Road facing the Harare direction without the trailer.
Police observed a shattered windscreen, tampered ignition and some scattered clothes in the truck.
