Policeman writes vulgar on Mugabe's photo

A Zimbabwe Republic Police Officer based at Silobela Police Station was arrested last week for allegedly writing unprintable words on President Robert Mugabe’s picture before adding a big ‘X’ on the portrait.\par

Constable Comfort Kawere was arrested on Thursday night when he allegedly came drunk and wrote vulgar words on the president’s face on a calendar.\par

Allegations are that Kadewe arrived at the Charge Office drunk, took a pen and wrote on the faces of the President and Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri.\par

He allegedly wrote “***** iri taneta naro”. Kadewe was allegedly arrested and went for a disciplinary hearing and he is detained at Fairbridge.
