ZRP policeman kills himself over maintenance, Disturbing picture

A Zimbabwe policeman who was stationed at Matapi in Harare has killed himself over despute with an exwife.

The police officer named as Constable Nyoni gunned himself at his place of work using an AK 47 riffle issued by his employer.

His photo has been circulating online after it was posted on social media by his workmates who witnessed the gruesome event.

His estranged wife could not be reached for a comment.

His death comes at a time when there is a lot of related suicides recorded in Zimbabwe police force.

Members of the force have access to free counselling and support service that they are encouraged to use when things don’t go right in their lives.
