ZNA on recruitment drive…HOW TO APPLY…

The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) is recruiting Officer Cadets, seeking qualified candidates aged 18-22 for ‘A’ level holders and up to 26 for those with diplomas or degrees.

Those with required specific height and weight, to undergo training at the Zimbabwe Military Academy and be commissioned as Second Lieutenants upon completion.

ZNA made the announcement in a public notice below:

Required are suitably qualified candidates to be trained as Officer Cadets to fill existing vacancies within the Zimbabwe National Army.

Candidates should:
-Have a minimum of six (6) points at ‘A’ level and 5 ‘O’ level passes with grade ‘C’ or better including English Language and Mathematics, any higher qualification will be an added advantage.
-Be aged between 18 – 22 years for ‘A level holders and up to 26 years for those with Diplomas and / orDegrees,

-Be single.
-Have a minimum height of 1,65m for males and 1,55m for females.
-Weigh not less than 55 kgs for males and 53 kgs for females.

-Potential candidates should clearly include their contact details and traceable references in their application letters.

Applicants to deposit their application letters together with certified copies of Academic and or Professional Certificates at Formation Headquarters, established Army Units and selected venues within their respective Provinces and Districts over period 05 to 19 Feb 2024.

Successful candidates will undergo selection at the Zimbabwe Military Academy in Gweru on dates to be advised at the above military camps. This will be followed by 21 months training programme at the Zimbabwe Milltary Academy. On completion of the course, candidates will be commissioned as Second Lleutenants in the Zimbabwe National Army.
