ZLHR hosts moot Court competition on Child Marriages today

The Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR) will today hosts its inaugural Child Marriages Moot Court Competition.

The Child Marriages Moot Court Competition, which will be held at ZLHR’s Moot Court in Harare, will be live-streamed on Sly Media Productions’ Facebook page.

The Child Marriages Moot Court Competition, the first of its kind for ZLHR, is aimed at stimulating debate & raise awareness at all levels of society on the dangers of child marriages & to sensitise communities on the law regarding child marriages.

Four teams from University of Zimbabwe’s Law Faculty will participate in the Child Marriages Moot Court Competition.

ZLHR will honour & present prizes to winners of the Child Marriages Moot Court Competition including the Winning Team, the First Runner-Up Team & the Best Orator.
