The Zimbabwe Trare (ZimTrade) in partnership with Rwanda Development Board will be facilitating the Rwanda Trade and Investment conference from the 28th of March – 1 April 2022.

This event will give Zimbabwean traders the opportunity to mix and mingle with Rwandan buyers and investors.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe’s total gold output for the first two months of the year spiked by 137 percent to 5 130,7 kilogrammes compared to 2 168,3 kg in the corresponding period in 2021, official figures show.

Apparently, small scale producers have contributed a sizeable chunk.

Zimbabwe boasts housing a vast array of minerals, however the country has not been getting much as it sells minerals in raw form.

The other problem had been of endemic corruption with huge amounts being smuggled outside the country.
