As at 24 August 2022, Zimbabwe had 256 675 confirmed cases, including 250 921 recoveries and 5 593 deaths.
According to the Ministry of Health and Child Care, to date, a total of 6 406 809 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Meanwhile, last week the government removed the mandatory wearing of face masks citing diminished rate.
