The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) has announced a 44-day maintenance at Hwange Unit 3.
In a public notice ZESA Holdings has advised stakeholders that Hwange Unit 3 will undergo statutory maintenance from 10 September to 24 October 2025, a 44-day planned outage.
The power utility said the exercise is aimed at improving the unit’s availability and reliability.
“During this period, Hwange Power Station will continue operating four units to support generation,” said ZESA.
