Zim pregnant woman(24) killed by train in Germany

A 24 year old Zimbabwean woman died on Friday after she was hit by a train in Germany.

Lynnette Nxumalo, originally from Bulawayo, allegedly killed herself by throwing her body on rail tracks after she discovered that she was pregnant.

Her father is the the late Bulawayo businessman Edwin Nkululeko Nxumalo, who was a very well known person in the city.

Nxumalo passed away last year after succumbing to kidney problems.

He died in May 2015.

According to different reports, Lynnette’s body was chopped into 2 pieces by the a train last week, Friday.

In a suicide note to her family, Lynnette indicated why she decided to take her own life;

“I’m sorry guys this will hurt you but I’m pregnant and at work they were not going to accept me. This is the only way. Sorry to you guys,” reads the suicide note.

The case is still under police investigation in Germany.
