Zimbabwean Socialite Mai Titi burns wedding gown worth US$4 000 after break-up- report

Controversial Zimbabwean socialite, Mai Titi, real name Felistas Murata, has burnt her US$4 000-worth wedding dress following the abrupt end of her marriage to Tinashe Maphosa.

In a video making rounds on social media, Mai Titi is seen pouring some flammable liquid on the white gown before setting it alight with a match stick.

As she is recorded doing this, in the background, she is heard saying;

The hardest lesson that I have learnt this year (is) sometimes it’s better to just let things be. Just let people go don’t ask for answers, don’t ask for explanation, don’t fight for closure and don’t expect people to understand where you are coming from.

You’re gonna be ok, I know right now it’s just not making sense but trust me you’re going to be ok. I know you are struggling to let certain things go but trust you are going to be fine. it’s not over yet, this is not the end of your story.

Mai Titi was recently in the news after she revealed that there was a possibility that the marriage certificate she signed with estranged husband Tinashe Maphosa was fake.

In a post and deleted message on Facebook , Mai Titi indicated that she was uncertain about the document authenticity.
