A Zimbabwean man has been arrested in the crime-ridden Hillbrow in Johannesburg in possession of IDs, bank cards, certificates, licences, passports and hard drives among other sensitive items as South Africa intensifies its crackdown on illegal immigration.
This comes amid xenophobia fears.
Meanwhile, top police officer commissioner Erasmus Makodza who was accused of irregularly granting his girlfriend use of a police farm
and criminal abuse of office has been acquitted.
Makodza argued while he had a relationship Mawonei Chapfudza he wasn’t involved in the farm lease deal.
