These are the student digs at Madziwa Teacher’s College in Mashonaland Central. Zinasu secretary general, Makomborero Haruzivishe was shocked at the appalling living conditions.

He said :”It is pathetic how students have been pauperised. It’s is disheartening and angering in one go for the brightest brains of our nation to be reduced to refugee status.

These comrades invited me in my capacity as Zinasu secretary general to help them in their fight to be allowed to sit for exams tomorrow. They are being barred simply because they cannot afford to pay the exorbitant tuition fees.”
