The country recorded five deaths and four thousand and thirty one (4 031) new cases of Covid-19 yesterday.
There is a steep increase in infections as the country battles the resurgent disease.
Zimbabwe also detected the new Covid 19 variant Omicron few days ago.
The country has since placed its response team on high alert monitoring the situation.
